Continuing and Distance Education Directorate
Continuing and Distance Education Directorate Office has been conducting continuing and distance education program to those who are not able to attend their higher education for various reasons in regular program at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The office is committed to produce more and competent graduates who can contribute and respond to the country’s socio-economic development. This is to be accomplished through demanding academic activities, joining research, short term training, summer education and distance programs in line with enhancing the university’s internal income; thereby improving university’s financial capability. Furthermore, the office is also committed to forging close partnerships with local and national partners who share our objectives (providing quality education to the community, contributing human capacity building for government and non-government organization, contributing in academic attraction/staff retention effort by creating additional income to the academic staffs and playing important role in generating income to the university. Accordingly, Jinka University Continuing and Distance Education Directorate endeavors to become the preparable school in the country in providing quality education to the surrounding community or community from anywhere else.
